My Survey Results

Today we used google forms to create a survey as part of our statistics unit.  Together we asked questions and sent the link to our class.
This is what I found out.

Cr “Ready, get set…. BANG!” shouted Whaea Rosina. I raced off sprinting as fast as a jet. Although I don’t enjoy running, I was trying to beat Angel-Rose, Sally and Jahvis. How’d you think I went? I didn’t beat them while I was sprinting...but wait for it, this turtle had a plan. I don’t care that I might be losing against Angel and Sally, they’re fast, I know that. I did care about beating Jahvis though. I smoked him, haha eat my dust I thought. The hill was coming up. I was already feeling sore. My legs were sore, I had a stitch….man, runnings brutal! I remember thinking, I might just walk this part. As I came down the hill, I was stoked. I got to rest, it didn’t seem as hard. I could hear my teacher screaming out to me, as I came up to her section of the track. “Go Angel! Go Sally! Go Veej” (That’s what she calls me). I was puffed. Even though she was telling me to ‘go, go, go’ I was thinking, ‘no, no, no’. Thank god I only had to run one lap. Bugger running two laps. So, to end my story guess what….this turtle came first for my age. My plan worked...hehehehehe.

We have digital technology at our school.

Matariki animation

WALT: Create a stop motion, animation movie.

SC: We will:

• Use small movements to capture our story.

• Plan a storyboard

• Limit our film to 2-3 minutes.

• Use Matariki as our topic.

What we learnt and enjoyed.
We really liked making this movie. Everyone else used stop motion but we decided to use Google Slides to show our Matariki movie. We wanted to show how people and animals celebrate Matariki and share a story.
What we will do next time.
We told our audience what was happening in this film. I think we can improve by showing image and action .  We were also well over 31 mins movie limit.

Snake Battle - Stop Motion

WALT: Create a short clip using Stop Motion

SC:  I will make short movements for each shot.

What worked?  I enjoyed working with Chace.  We worked as a good team.  I took the shots.  Chace moved our animations.

We made a 2 mistakes.  There was  a hand seen in the video. Secondly, the movements between shots were too big, don't judge us we're just learning.

Speech critque

Today some of my class and I did speech's, and it was scary. I was nervous when I was getting ready because I was chosen to  speak my speech in front of the whole school.

Finally the time I had to perform and now that i'm at it i wasn't scared.

So I got up and said my speech. Second place for me Y.A.Y wait... no I have to perform at the R.S.A.
