I got this picture from the Summer Learning Journey page.

- How old were you when you climbed Mount Everest?
- When you reached the top on a scale of 1-10 how did you feel?
- How popular do you feel on a $5 note?
- Did you ever want to do it again?

Kia ora VJ,
ReplyDeleteWell done on another day of activities! I love the detail you have put into your writing, thanks for crediting your Mum for the photo. Your pancakes look and sound delicious. I am on pancake duty on Christmas day this year. I love topping my pancakes with berries and bacon, yum!
Your hotel sounds awesome! Good choice on Paihia as the destination for your hotel, it is so beautiful there! Would you have rooms with ocean views? If so, would they cost more than the rooms with a garden or carpark view?
I look forward to reading more blogposts from you soon!
Have a very Merry Christmas VJ.
Nga mihi,
Georgia
Kia Ora Victor Jack,
ReplyDeleteYou have come up with some awesome questions for Sir Edmund Hillary. I wish he would be able to answer your questions so we could know the answers. Have you ever climbed a mountain before? I have climbed a few of the ‘mountains’ in Auckland like Mount Eden but it is more like a steep hill than a mountain!
Yum! Pancakes! Have you had a chance to make pancakes during the holidays yet? I love making hotcakes which are very similar but take a bit more work. My favourite hotcake recipe is this one from Chelsea Winters: http://chelseawinter.co.nz/hotcakes/
What are your favourite toppings for your pancakes? I think my all time favourite is bacon, maple syrup and banana. But I also like peanut butter and banana sometimes as well.
You hotel has a great view and it’s awesome to see that you have really thought about all the extra things you would put in your hotel. I think a pancake bar would be awesome, the guests could watch a chef cook their pancakes then the guests could put their own toppings on their pancakes. What made you decide to have your hotel in Spain?
I hope you have a lovely Christmas with your whanau and I look forward to reading more of your blogs as the summer continues!
Blog ya later,
Dani
